DSCSA – GLN#

Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) Compliance

The FDA’s Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requires that, by
August 27, 2025, all shipments of RX products must include serialized
transaction data (EPCIS) and a valid GS1 Global Location Number (GLN) for every shipping location.

What is a Global Location Number (GLN) and why do I need one?

The Global Location Number (GLN) is a unique 13-digit numeric code assigned to a location. This identifier helps
businesses track products, optimize processes, and provide visibility to transactions and shipments as they move
throughout the supply chain.

How to Provide Your GLN Numbers

Please choose the option that is easiest for your team.

NOTE: If you have locations that do not receive RX products through TCC Pharma, this
does not apply to your supply product (non-RX) purchases at this time.

  1. Use Your Own File
If you have a pre-existing file or template with your GLN numbers, email it to
compliance@tccpharma.com, and we’ll upload it to our system.
  2. Fill Out Our Online Form*
If you only have one or a few locations, quickly fill out our EPCIS Data Sheet:

*Best for customers with only one ship-to location.
  3. Use Our Template
If you have multiple locations but no template yet, download the CSV below, complete it, then email it to
    compliance@tccpharma.com.

NOTE: A single GLN can only be used for locations with an address and name that are exactly the same in every detail.
If there are any differences in the company name or any part of the address (such as street, suite, city, or ZIP code),
that location must have a separate, unique GLN.
